Research and Teaching
Beatrice’s doctoral studies focused on improving oral healthcare accessibility for individuals with higher health needs in residential care. She recognised that accessing oral healthcare services can be a significant barrier to the oral health and well-being of aged residential care residents, as well as other populations with higher health needs. Beatrice recognises the importance of providing this patient group with a mobile dental and teledentistry services. She is committed to continuing her research in Tauranga and contributing to the scientific literature in order to improve accessibility for all.
